AIMOTION protects your personal data in accordance with the GDPR (RGPD). This page explains what data is collected, for what purpose, and what your rights are.

Data collected

When placing an order or making contact, AIMOTION collects:

  • Identity: surname, first name
  • Contact details: email, postal address, phone (optional)
  • Order data: products, amounts, history
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type (via cookies)

No banking data is retained by AIMOTION: payment is processed by Shopify Payments (Stripe).

Purposes

  • Order processing and follow-up (legal basis: performance of contract)
  • Customer communication (delivery, after-sales), basis: contract
  • Newsletter, if you have consented, basis: consent
  • Legal obligations (invoicing, accounting), basis: legal obligation
  • Site improvement (anonymised statistics), basis: legitimate interest

Retention period

  • Order data: 10 years (accounting obligation)
  • Customer data: 3 years after the last contact
  • Newsletter: until unsubscription
  • Cookies: see cookie policy

Recipients

Your data is processed by AIMOTION and its strictly necessary subcontractors: Shopify (hosting, payment), Chronopost (delivery), Mailchimp or equivalent (newsletter, if applicable). No data is sold to third parties.

Transfers outside the EU

Some subcontractors may process your data outside the European Union (Shopify: Ireland / Canada / USA). These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by adequacy decisions.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access to your data
  • Rectification
  • Erasure (right to be forgotten)
  • Restriction of processing
  • Portability
  • Objection
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time

To exercise a right, two options:

AIMOTION responds within 30 days maximum.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority, cnil.fr) if you consider that your rights are not being respected.

Security

AIMOTION implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The site uses HTTPS end-to-end.
