Privacy Policy.

AIMOTION protects your personal data in accordance with the GDPR (RGPD). This page explains what data is collected, for what purpose, and what your rights are.

Data collected

When placing an order or making contact, AIMOTION collects:

  • Identity: first name, last name
  • Contact details: email, postal address, phone (needed for delivery)
  • Order data: products, amounts, history
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type (via cookies)

AIMOTION does not store any bank details: payment is processed by Shopify Payments (Stripe) or, if you choose it, by PayPal.

Purposes

  • Order processing and follow-up (legal basis: performance of contract)
  • Customer communication (delivery, after-sales), basis: contract
  • Sending a gift card to the recipient you name (first name, email, message), basis: contract. This information is never used for marketing.
  • Handling a withdrawal request sent with the “Withdraw from contract” form: the information is used only to handle the request and is kept as proof, basis: legal obligation
  • Newsletter, if you have consented, basis: consent
  • Legal obligations (invoicing, accounting), basis: legal obligation
  • Site improvement (anonymised statistics), basis: legitimate interest

Retention period

  • Order data: 10 years (accounting obligation)
  • Customer data: 3 years after the last contact
  • Withdrawal requests: kept with the data of the order concerned
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
  • Cookies: see cookie policy

Recipients

Your data is processed by AIMOTION and only the service providers it strictly needs: Shopify (hosting, payment), PayPal (payment, if you choose it), Chronopost (delivery), Mailchimp or equivalent (newsletter, if applicable). No data is sold to third parties.

Transfers outside the EU

Some service providers may process your data outside the European Union (Shopify: Ireland / Canada / USA). These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by adequacy decisions.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Erasure (right to be forgotten)
  • Restriction of processing
  • Portability
  • Objection
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority, cnil.fr) if you consider that your rights are not being respected.

Security

AIMOTION implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The site uses HTTPS end-to-end.
